The flowers were/are beautiful and as pictured. Delivered on time and with the note being in a beautiful font to look more personal. Was greatly appreciated and admired.

Your flowers, and service never disappoints. I have been using your store since high school for personal, business and church needs. And I’m drawing social security

Ordered a $130 arrangement with delivery for a memorial service but the family said they never received it. We had asked for a picture confirmation the day before delivery and the lady on the phone said yes they can do that. Never happened. When we called to inquire about the arrangement they said the delivery guy delivered it. This is frustrating, disappointing and sad since this was for a memorial service of a good friend's mother.

The arrangement was sent to one of our peers at work upon a loss of a loved one. She thanked us and let us know how gorgeous this arrangement was. Ordering online and using Visser's Florist for twice now has been a wonderful experience, will continue to use them in the future ♥

Absolutely the worse experience with a florist ever. Our neighbor died suddenly on Christmas and I chose this florist and this arrangement for over 150.00 on their website because it was guaranteed to be delivered to the family on the same day.
The site said it would definitely be delivered the same day.
After spending time going through pages of arrangements I picked this. And then I got a call at 1:30pm from your store informing me that all delivery guys had gone home and no one would deliver until 2 days later. And no one was willing to drive to our friend’s home which is in the neighborhood. We had to come pick it up and deliver ourselves. So about 20 minutes later they called and informed me that they didn’t have the blue hydrangeas shown in the photo. But they could spray paint another flower!!! Really??? That is the cheesiest I can imagine. So they had nothing that sounded right but yellow and lavender roses. I said okay. We had no choice. We went in an hour to pick up. From the side they showed us it seemed okay. Not close to what we had ordered or wanted period. We had no choice to take it because of the urgency of the matter.
And just so you know, NO ONE OFFERED A BIG APOLOGY OR ANYTHING. THEY JUST DON’T CARE.
OK! Got the overpriced arrangement home and turned it around and the whole other side had been filled with wilted dying white hydrangeas!!!!!! They looked like they had dug through the trash to find them.
What unprofessionalism!! Guess what we had to do??? Pull the dying flowers out and then take a trip to Ralph’s where I found hydrangeas that were actually FRESH!!! And I bought day lilies to fill in the arrangement. And that is what I got to do because of your total incompetency.
You are closed today so I will deal with you in person tomorrow.
But truly. This business acted like some crap little flower shop in some back wood small town.
Yeah, it was the day after Christmas and during the pandemic but aside from stating on your website that you would deliver the same day, and then not creating the arrangement we wanted, you actually used dying hydrangeas to complete this ridiculousness!!
I urge anyone around here who is looking for a florist to stay away from this place.
The worst experience all around.
And not one “I’m sorry” for any of it!
How could you have lasted this long? I have no idea.
Done with this shifty second rate business.

An order was placed on Friday, June 3rd early in the morning and was arranged and delivered before 12 noon on June 3rd. The flowers where for one of the Board of Directors at the Orange County Transportation Authority whose father passed away unexpectedly. The Board Member commented that the flowers where beautiful. Thank you for your fast response and providing a great arrangement. Laurena Weinert, Clerk of the Board, Orange County Transportation Authority

This is the first time I have been a little disappointed in an arraignment. The posture shows to be very dense and symmetrical. My mom sent me pictures and although she was quite happy, it was not as impressive as the picture. It was definitely not as full and seemed very lopsided. Just really not what I have come to expect from Visser's especially for such a premium priced bouquet.
History of Visser's Florist and Greenhouses The history of Visser's Florist actually started in 1951 when Bill Visser, an award-winning floral designer decided to sell his flower shops in Holland and relocate to California. He arrived in Los Angeles in 1952 and first went to work at Cedric's Florist shop in Los Angeles. In 1956 Bill heard that Walt Disney had picked Anaheim California for Disneyland, and Bill decided that Orange County was the place to be. One of Bill's first stops was Macres Florists, at 604 Lincoln Ave. in the heart of Anaheim California where owner Mary Macres decided to sell him her little flower shop. He operated that flower shop for five long years until 1961 when he built his ultra-modern flower shop right across the street at 701 W. Lincoln Ave. He bought the building and then bought several surrounding houses in order to create the 12,000 square foot floral landmark that Visser's is today. Bill got married in 1953 and had two daughters, Lynda and Lori. Bill built an apartment above the flower shop so his daughters virtually grew up in the business. Both started working in the shop when they were very young, and in 1986 they bought the business from their Dad. For the next 18 years, the girls and their husbands continued to grow the business, until 2004 when they decided to sell the business to the Robinson family. Ted and Cathy Robinson, and their two sons Ted Jr. and Dennis took over the reins in September 2004, and continue to faithfully apply the principles and procedures that Bill Visser used to make the flower shop a Southern California landmark. Throughout the years, Visser's Florist has won numerous awards and recognition. It has been a "Top 100" member of FTD for several years, out of the 20,000 plus FTD flower shops in the nation. Visser's Florist is proud to support many civic groups and charities in the area. According to Ted Robinson, "Nothing makes up happier than to be able to give back to the community that supports us so strongly." Today, Visser's Florist and Greenhouses is the largest single flower shop and greenhouse in Orange County, with 39 employees, two fully-stocked greenhouses and thousands of flowers and plants. A fleet of modern vehicles deliver thousands of beautiful flower arrangements throughout Orange County. In addition to beautiful flower arrangements and healthy green house plants, Visser's Florist specializes in custom fruit and gourmet baskets, European style plant gardens, wedding flowers, funeral flowers, plant rental and plant maintenance service. Customer service is second to none. With its 100% satisfaction guarantee, Visser’s is truly the place for all your floral needs. Like Disneyland, Visser's Florist and Greenhouses recently celebrated its 50th anniversary. One can only guess about how proud Bill Visser would be to see what his little flower shop has grown into today.
In some instances, the florists’ photo may represent an overall theme or look and include a one-of-a-kind vase which cannot be exactly replicated. Although the actual bouquet may not precisely match the photo, its temperament will. Occasionally, substitutions of flowers or containers happen due to weather, seasonality and market conditions which may affect availability. If this is the case with the gift you've selected, the local florist will ensure that the style, theme and color scheme of your arrangement is preserved and will only substitute items of equal or higher value.
Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist. Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.
Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone. Florists that offer same day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the following day. Please note some florists may not make deliveries on Sunday.
To request a specific delivery time, please type it into the Special Instructions field during checkout. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences. Before major holidays, we recommend that you place your orders at least five days in advance.
