We are a family owned operation with a storefront location and walk-in showroom in the Rosslyn business district of Arlington, VA. We are located inside the Twin Towers of Rosslyn, directly below the Freedom Park skybridge on the Mall level. We hand-deliver our arrangements locally in Arlington and the DC metropolitan area with same-day delivery service. As associate members of BloomNation, FTD, Teleflora, and 1800Flowers we have the ability to send orders nationwide and worldwide through our affiliated network shops. Our extensive online arrangement catalog is one of the largest in existence and orders can be placed from the website for pick-up or delivery. We also welcome requests for custom and bespoke arrangements. Our head designer is a master florist with over 45 years of experience. HISTORY Established in 1981, Twin Towers Florist was one of the first companies to occupy a space in the 30-story curvilinear office towers at 1000 and 1100 Wilson Blvd. Currently, the Towers at 1000 and 1100 Wilson is home to CVS, Capital One Bank, ABC Channel 7, News Channel 8, Politico, Raytheon, Sands Capital Management, and many others. We are on the mall level at the top of the living plant wall in the atrium where the Freedom Park sky bridge crosses Wilson Blvd. at N. DIRECTIONS AND PARKING Walking: From the 1100 Wilson entrance, we are one floor above CVS. Take the escalator up and walk down the hall. From the 1000 Wilson entrance, we are up the 3 flights of escalators in the atrium with the living plant wall. On Saturdays, the 1000 entrance is closed. Walk into the 1100 garage entrance from the street, and take the elevator to the Mall level. We are down the hall to the right). From Freedom Park, enter at the glass vestibule and take the stairs or elevator down one floor to the Mall level. We are down the hall to the right. Driving: The 1000 and 1100 parking garages offer 10 minutes of free parking to our customers. Drive in at either of the two entrances with a ticket, park in a non reserved spot, and take the elevators to the Mall level. When leaving within the 10 minute grace period, simply drive up to the exit gate and insert your ticket into the machine. The gate will open if it has been less than 10 minutes since entering. DAYS CLOSED We do not make deliveries on Sundays. Deliveries requested on Sunday will be delivered the following business day. Wreaths for Sunday wreath laying ceremonies at the Tomb on the Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery are delivered on Saturday afternoons. The Office of the Sergeant of the Guard at the Tomb will have the wreath for your group when you arrive. Our shop will always be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day and Labor Day. Orders placed for delivery on these holidays will be delivered the following business day. DELIVERIES Our cut-off time for same-day delivery is 2:00pm ET Monday through Friday, and 1:00pm ET on Saturdays for local deliveries. Outside Arlington delivery cut-off times vary depending on distance. Orders must be received before 2:00 PM Monday through Friday, and before 1:00 PM Saturday in the recipient's time zone to assure same-day delivery. Orders received after 2:00 PM Monday through Friday, and 1:00 PM Saturday will be delivered the following business day. A base delivery fee of $14.95 will be added to each local Arlington delivery order for each address. For deliveries outside of Arlington, the delivery fee will be $19.95-$29.95, depending on zip code. Multiple items going to the same address will incur a $5.00 additional delivery fee per additional item. This additional amount will be charged to the same credit card, post-transaction. During the week of Valentine's Day, the base delivery fee will increase slightly. Due to high order volumes, the perimeter of what is considered our local delivery area may be reduced. Unless a specific time is requested in the special instructions, residential deliveries are typically delivered later in the day towards the afternoon and evening. Orders going to business addresses are typically delivered before residential deliveries, and we aim to complete business deliveries by 3:00 PM each day. On Valentine's Day, deliveries to residential addresses may arrive later in the evening than our closing time of 6pm. Because of high order volumes on Valentine's Day and Mother's Day, early AM, rush, and time window deliveries may not be available. If a specific early delivery time is requested, we will do our best to accommodate, but can only guarantee delivery before noon for orders with requests for earlier AM delivery times during these holidays. Orders going to business addresses are marked to be delivered before 3pm unless otherwise specified in the special instructions. Last minute, rush, post cutoff time, early AM, time-window, and special delivery requests may incur an additional charge. If you are not contacted regarding a surcharge amount, your order will be delivered prior to noon for any AM requested delivery times, by 5pm for business deliveries, and by 8pm for residential deliveries. Delivery fees may be higher during certain holiday periods. For deliveries to secured government buildings, hospitals, funeral homes, schools, and hotels, we must call ahead to verify the recipient will be at the delivery address to receive the flowers. Please make sure all the contact information is correct when you place your order. There is a $59.95 minimum arrangement amount for wire-out orders outside our delivery area plus the delivery/wire charge. SUBSTITUTIONS Occasionally, substitutions may be necessary to create your bouquet due to the availability of certain flowers in various parts of the country. Care is taken to maintain the style, theme and color scheme of the arrangement, using flowers of equal value. Additionally, the substitution of certain keepsake items may be necessary due to increased demand, especially during major holidays. In single-flower arrangements, such as an all rose bouquet, or orchids, we will make every attempt to match the flower type, but may substitute with another color. Most of the arrangements in our catalog show "one-sided" orientation designs, but may state "Orientation: All-Around" in their descriptions. All the flowers in these arrangements' recipes are visible in the catalog photos, and there are no extra flowers hidden from view. All-around orientated designs are impossible to fully capture in a photograph so the catalog shows them as one-sided arrangements. We design most of our arrangements in our own "three-sided" design with a definite front focal point or "nose" of main flowers, but with accenting flowers, greenery, and fillers all around. If a truly all-around orientated design is desired for larger scale centerpieces, please make note in the special instructions. REFUNDS If you decide to cancel an order for a refund after your credit card has been charged, a 10% processing fee will apply. We do not issue refunds in situations where an arrangement is refused by the intended recipients. Refused arrangements will be brought back to the shop after the delivery attempt and will be available for pick up from our store location. If you are not satisfied with one of our arrangements, and would like a replacement, please contact us within 24 hours to coordinate a pick-up or pick-up/re-delivery time. OTHER POLICIES All prices on our website are in US currency. On occasion, we will take a photo of an arrangement for use on our website or online pages. This includes graveside arrangements at Arlington National Cemetery. If you do not want your photo published online, please let us know when you placing your order or email us at twintowersflorist@yahoo.com. We reserve the right to amend our arrangement prices, fee schedules, and policies at any time. We reserve the right to refuse service for any reason.
In some instances, the florists’ photo may represent an overall theme or look and include a one-of-a-kind vase which cannot be exactly replicated. Although the actual bouquet may not precisely match the photo, its temperament will. Occasionally, substitutions of flowers or containers happen due to weather, seasonality and market conditions which may affect availability. If this is the case with the gift you've selected, the local florist will ensure that the style, theme and color scheme of your arrangement is preserved and will only substitute items of equal or higher value.
Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist. Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.
Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone. Florists that offer same day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the following day. Please note some florists may not make deliveries on Sunday.
To request a specific delivery time, please type it into the Special Instructions field during checkout. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences. Before major holidays, we recommend that you place your orders at least five days in advance.
