I have worked as an EA for a company for the last 5 years, and part of my tasks is to purchase thank you flowers to have delivered to our VIPS. I have favorite florists and shops around the US. Petals and Décor is an excellent source for fresh, lovely flowers, arranged with an eye for beauty in the San Francisco area. I called and spoke to Mariah twice - once in June of 2022, and again this December 2023.I can't say enough about the quality of the flowers, and the customer service provided by Petals and Décor. My message to my recipients is quite lengthy at times, and I was able to email the shop and have them print or write out the message to ensure that our sentiments were correctly given to our clients. Petals and Décor sent a "BloomSnap" of the arrangement before it left the shop, which enabled me to add the photo to my gift data base for future reference. I spoke to Mariah when I called - over the two orders I placed with this shop - and she has been consistently professional and courteous. I know who to call when we have another gift to deliver in the SF area. Thank you Mariah, and thank you Petals and Décor!

Petals a Flower did a phenomenal job with the bouquet I had ordered online to be delivered on a particular day. I chose the Designer’s Choice Arrangement and the bouquet itself was gorgeous, very full, and absolutely matching the cost of the arrangement and delivery. It was nice to be able to include a card as well that allowed for a lot of characters to be written on it. I am not local to San Francisco but the delivery and coordination of delivery was seamless and easy. I will absolutely be utilizing their services again in the future!

Hello Janny and thank you for your order. Please ask your recipient to count how many tulips are in the arrangement. I put 24 tulips in this bouquet. The problem is that tulips are very young and small in size right now and they are not very visible. To make the arrangement more appealing I needed to include other flowers. I love supporting this small business. Whenever we order flowers, they follow the delivery instructions exactly. They will call ahead to the recipient to ensure they will home (in case there’s no safe place to leave the flowers in the City). They will come back even at a better time when someone is home. I had surgery and was at my post op appointment when they called upon arrival, so they came back an hour later when I would be home. They truly go above and beyond and their flower arrangements are so beautiful.

I ordered a bouquet online on Friday for delivery the next day for my daughter’s birthday. I had called another popular floral shop, from who I had ordered before, and they said they no longer deliver on Saturdays. Annette is a life saver. I needed a dozen roses for my wife the day before Valentines Day and I went on line to order but mistakenly clicked on the following Saturday after Valentines Day for pickup. When I called to find out when I could pick up the roses, Annette found my mistake but had a dozen Ecuadorian red roses that I could pick up immediately. The roses and bouquet were beautiful and even a week later they still look great. It was a nice treat for my wife for a Valentines Day during COVID. The photo of what my daughter was to receive is nothing like what was received. There were no Cala lilies and there were not many tulips. There was was a lot of greenery and a random purple flower. They were nice be disappointed that it was not as advertised.

I would have expected a phone call when the store was closing and the order was still there. It’s difficult because I on the East Coast, hence I rely on the business to inform me that the flowers are still there. Sadly there was no notification and we have missed the event.

The flowers were ordered as a a pickup after 4:00pm. I think there might have been a mixup with the pick up person. However my phone number was given. I would have expected a phone call when the store was closing and the order was still there. It’s difficult because I on the East Coast, hence I rely on the business to inform me that the flowers are still there. Sadly there was no notification and we have missed the event.
Here is the recap of what actually happen:
You placed the order for pickup on March 8th at 10:34 AM PT, well before our same day delivery cut-off time of 12:30 PM PT... You chose to pickup flowers instead of ordering the delivery. We have completed the order at around 1:00 PM. An arrangement was done according to your specifications, including types of flowers and colors. Since peonies are not in season now I used Italian ranunculus which equally rare and as beautiful.
I called you at approximately 5:50 PM when your son did not yet arrive for pick-up. You were not available and I left you v-mail asking to call me back as soon as possible and stating that we will be closing around 6:30 PM. Our business hours are also very clearly posted on web site, Yelp, and Facebook. We were in the studio until 7 PM. You called me back only at around 7:30 PM (I have my business line routed to my cell after hours) and we talked, but at that time it was too late for anybody to be in the store...
I called you again Saturday morning asking for a further instructions. You told me that you cannot get in touch with your son and will call me back later. Instead, your daughter stopped by to pick up flowers. She seemed to be very pleased with the arrangement and had mentioned that they had a rough day on Friday. I congratulated her with the belated birthday and offered my apologies for the delay in receiving flowers...
If there was a "mix-up with the pick up person" it was a miscommunication between you and your son, and you cannot hold me responsible for that - I did not even had his or anybody else's contact information besides yours. I did call you 45 minutes prior to our closing and left you a message and responded to your call after my normal business hours.
When asked, we deliver the arrangements promptly on time - we are professionals and we take pride in the quality of everything we do, including quality of arrangements and timely deliveries.
I am really doubtful you will be ordering from me again, but given this experience with you I will make sure that you have at least two reliable phone numbers to contact you and the recipient.

The sample of flowers and size of the bouquet were as they appeared in the image, when I ordered online--but for a few flowers which were more seasonal. My mother absolutely loved the flowers and told me they brought tears to her eyes, because they were so beautiful.
