Not an autumnal arrangement I would order on repeat. The choice of several purple mums and paper leaf stems were off putting to this purist. No “wow” factor in the medium box. J. Morris always the go to for hosting however, and there are more options for the next round.

when i made this special request the rep asked if i wanted any greens in the bunch. i thought that was going to be honored since i specified "i want the most ranunculus possible, they already have green leaves on them. thank you."
super disappointing paying $65 for 8 ranunculus stems and a bunch of eucalyptus green filler.
not happy and not going to use j. morris flowers again (after too many disappointing deliveries).

Hello there. Your team were professional, they communicated and updated throughout and delivered on time as promised. I only have one disappointment in that the flowers were not the same vibrant summer colours as shown with tones that coordinate beautifully. They were all beautiful flowers but there were too many colours that I did not feel go as nicely together. It has peach, red, pink, yellow, too many different seasonal colours. Although all the flowers were on their own beautiful. Next time I will make sure to say what colours are preferred as I was certainly happy with your service. So I will definitely be back.

I would suggest that they add that arrangement into their repertoire because it looked like a bridal bouquet in a vase.

I purchased this “A Day in Tuscany” bouquet for a friend’s birthday. It was delivered on the day it was scheduled to be delivered, and I received notice of this as soon as the delivery was made. My friend called me as soon as she received it to say that it was “gorgeous” and she loved it! She said there was something packed in the bouquet that kept the stems wet (it was delivered when no one was home) and it did the job well. I was able to order the bouquet online with no issues. I highly recommend J.Morris Flowers if you want a special bouquet created by a small, local business that really cares about what they do.

The morning of our wedding, in May 2014, the corsages and boutonnières we had called in were nowhere to be found. Regardless, J. Morris Flowers leapt into action and created everything we needed in a couple of hours and the day was saved. We never got charged for the original order or the rescue order and we came away very impressed with the experience. Since then, J. Morris Flowers is the only florist I’ve used. Always fast and friendly, the staff is wonderful and so creative. My wife’s 50th Birthday arrangement was no exception—they pulled together a beautiful and specific arrangement on very short notice and everything was beautiful. We have ordered from J.Morris before and the arrangements are always stunning. Although the flowers delivered were pretty it did not resemble the celebration collection at all. We were missing the touch of the leaf lined vase and the flowers requested were a vibrant orange (the ones in the arrangement were pale peach) and purple hydrangeas (no hydrangeas were in it at all) as they are a favorite of the recipient and in theme with her school, Clemson (purple/orange). Again, it would not deter me from ordering in the future I was just surprised at what we received being nothing in line with the website pictures or request.

First time I used a local florist vs national company. Ordered on the website on Sunday and delivered on Monday before 4pm. I forgot the apartment number on order and eventhough your driver tried to call mother in law repeatedly (if she doesn't know you she doesn't answer) he was able to get her number and deliver. To address the price, the wrapped versions of our collections have more premium flowers (not as much of the lower cost filler florals that round out a vase) to account for the lack of hardware, but this can of course affect the size of the overall visual of the bouquet. That, coupled with the effects of rising costs (even for us florists), has unfortunately caused a lot of us in the industry to adjust accordingly. Putting that aside, If you are ever in need of flowers in the future, we definitely invite you to call and specify size ("I want it to look big") and color ("Can you use less yellow roses but add another, less expensive yellow flower?") and our designers will modify the bouquet to fit your vision and style. We would love to work with you and your visions again in the future! :)

This my first time ordering flowers with J. Morris and definitely not my last. As a new client, you receive a discount on your first order. For some reason, (probably my technology-deficient-skills) the code did not work. I went ahead and ordered on-line regardless and shared a brief note indicating my issue. Within hours, I received a courteous and professional phone call from a team-member offering to assist me by adding “extra” flowers to the bouquet while they pursued the discount glitch. THIS NEVER HAPPENS anymore, sadly. What a fantastic vision for customer service and business practices. If I could, I’d actually send J.Morris flowers. (But then, they’d know who sent them, since I’d only be ordering from them from this day forward) Kudos to J.M!! Btw: the flowers were spectacular!

The flowers I ordered on Monday for a Friday delivery were not delivered. I tried to call prior to 5 pm numerous times on Friday and was put on hold and forced to leave a message each time. No one returned my call. I received an email response later in the evening that the driver could not get through a gate; however, the home is not in a gated community. It is after 10:00 am on Saturday and I have not heard from the flower shop.

This was a terrible experience. I placed an order weeks ago for delivery to a local school. I connected with a person the day before delivery to bring to attention that the school hours are only until 3 and was assured the delivery would be in that time frame. When it was 3 and nothing had been delivered to her at the school yet, I called and left a voicemail to arrange an alternative delivery. Not only did they not return my call or email, they had the nerve to send this notification of delivery for flowers we never received. If on second 5 stars but apparently they’re taking odds the buyer doesn’t see arrangement when out of state orders are placed directly with their store and leave the execution to inexperienced staff. 4 stars is generous. I ordered the largest Holiday Cider order which was $85, $106 total with delivery and tax and it was underwhelming at best. I’m disabled and only get out of house when my caregiver takes me to doctors. Needless to say I get depressed looking at four walls every day. The arrangement truly made me happy. I’ll be a regular customer for sure.
Only complaint is it was delivered on front of my garage. I specified I wanted it put on my front porch. If I hadn’t had a visitor Sunday morning, I wouldn’t have seen it and couldn’t get in house. It sat there until Sunday morning.
I suggest you be sure to read instructions.

While we love the flowers we have been pretty unhappy with the size of arrangements for the cost.
We just know we could pay half of what we were charged for a bigger arrangement we pick up just 2 miles down the road at wegmans and it’s made just as beautifully.
Not sure why the prices are so high for the size of arrangement but it’s going to deter us from purchasing from now on.
We wish we could keep supporting your business but it just doesn’t make sense for us.

Never us e you again EVER - you guys don't even have the decency to return my phone call or email message - you botched my order from the start, didn't send the balloon or chocolate and delivered to my neighbors house, then didn't have the chocolate I ordered and sent a different box that cost $5 and charged me $25 for it - at the end of the day that chocolate should have had no charge as a courtesy to me for not getting this order right from the start - so much for trying to support local business, which I own one in Ashburn and will let people know how you handled this situation.

On a high note, the flowers were beautiful. The review is 'just buyer beware if you have a special instruction they will likely not look at it'.

Knowing I should have checked the website for hours, there wasn't any indication the day of that the store wouldn't be open in the afternoon. I didn't receive any phone calls about when I should pick up the flowers nor any apparent email notifications about scheduling a pickup.
I showed up an hour after closing (2pm) - not knowing they closed early on Saturdays (and not open on Sundays). Again - I should have checked the hours but I also expect a business to contact the customer about picking up a purchase if they close earlier than normal business hours (4-5pm). All other florists I've used always reached out via phone or email to confirm a pick up and called the day before to confirm pick up again. I won't be using J. Morris again and will share that with my network.

I want to like the flowers from your shop so much, but so often something is missing. For example, in this small arrangement, the picture shows parrot tulips and a greenery heart- two items that are not in the arrangement I gave my daughter. There was no heart feature and it had two small standard red tulips instead. I understand supply issues for sure, but this is not the first time I have had this experience.
Further, the price for this arrangement was just fine, but my husband was interested in getting me a dozen or two red roses for the holiday and the prices you offered were astronomical. I used to work at two different florists- again, I get it. But there's no excuse for that mark up.

I was very grateful that this order was completed with only one days notice before the funeral. However, there was no card attached, so no one knew who it was from until after the ceremony. It could have fallen off once it arrived, but I would ask that they make sure the card is attached better in the future. It was a very expensive arrangement and a very important event. So, it would have been nice for the family to know they were being supported from afar.

I specifically chose that arrangement for the slight color and depth the image showed (the hint of that blue and red piece, plus the slight pink tone of the roses as well). The arrangement delivered was yes pretty and appreciated, however I am slightly disappointed. It also did not have the height of the tall (tail) pieces as shown in the image as well. It wasn't what I expected for the money I paid. It obviously still served its purpose, but my disappointment still remains.

Purchased flowers on a Friday for Saturday delivery. Credit card was charged - flowers not delivered. Left a message inquiring as to what happened. Store did promptly return call the next business day (Monday morning). I was told that there was an error with their system and that flowers would be delivered Monday morning. Flowers were not delivered. I called store again at 4:30 pm and was given another excuse for the delay. Flowers did arrive Monday evening. Very disappointed that florist did not offer any compensation.

I would like to start by expressing that I choose to go with local florist rather than larger companies for my floral needs because for one I like to support local businesses and two because the outcome is normally much more beautiful and the attention to detail makes it worth it.
However that was not my experience. I placed an order for same day delivery on the 12th, received a confirmation but never received any follow up confirmation of delivery. I called the morning of the 13th to confirm delivery and was then informed that they received the order but for some reason it didn’t go out to the delivery service so it was never delivered. Had I not called, I would have paid for flowers that were never received. I was then assured it would be out for delivery that morning. It was then delivered, however it did not include a name on the card when I had originally written it out with a signature. If I wanted a mediocre flower delivery service I would have just gone with a larger company. I will not be using you again. Very disappointed!

When I got there the assistant said I need to put fresh water in your flowers which indicated to me that the bouquet was not fresh and it probably made the day or two before. To surprise my wife Space I put the flowers in the bathtub for the night. When I woke up the next morning I noticed that most of the buds had fallen off which indicated to me that the arrangement had probably been made at least 2 to 3 days before. When I presented it to my wife I could see that the petals were already wilting. Two days later she threw them out. Sad.

I have used J. Morris on several occasions and for the very first time was a bit disappointed. The flowers were beyond their shelf life and looked fresh for just a few hours. The next morning, several had peaked and had to be removed. Granted, it was a hot day when they were transported to my residence. I prefer an arrangement without fully opened flowers with a two day staying power at the minimum. This was not the quality I have come to expect from J. Morris, and perhaps if I had ordered the standard bouquet, this would suffice. But I went with your optimum version. And what I received looked nothing like the photo. Better luck next time and I know it was just a blemish in an otherwise impeccable record.

This was a mostly beautiful arrangement that matched the picture you advertised on your website. The flowers were delivered on time and on the day requested. I expected the vase to be lined with dark leaves as pictured on the site . This was the most appealing artistic piece of the arrangement when I selected it.
Instead the vase was wrapped in gold paper.
I expected tight yellow buds to accent the piece but instead it came with what looks like golden rod sprays. A very different appearance.
Instead of 3-4 sunflowers it came with 2 sunflowers.
My arrangement did not look like the arrangement pictured on the site.
I regret ordering from this florist.

I don't know why I waited so long to order more flowers from J.Morris; they took care of my wedding nearly a year ago and I was in LOVE with my floral arrangements then. This flower wrap melted my heart all over again. One of the things that I love is that the bouquet is perfectly arranged and wrapped with a green leaf so all I had to do is put in the vase without me having to fix ANYTHING. I wanted to purchase flowers for Mother's Day from a local florist, and had heard about J.Morris Flowers through my previous experience doing weddings. Their website was easy to navigate, easy to find Mother's Day appropriate arrangements, and easy to make payments/leave a note. The flowers were beautiful; my mom loved them; and the company was communicative through the delivery process. Only a few small hiccups: I had called to change the message on the note after placing the order, but they accidentally sent the original note. Additionally, our arrangement didn't have a blue-hue on the irises so the arrangement ended up being just purple and yellow. Not sure if the color on the website was unclear or if the blue wasn't seasonal, but maybe just mention alternative colors on the website? I do plan on using them in the future if I need floral arrangements. Thank you!

While what my mother received was lovely, it was not close to the custom order I placed. Unfortunately, I was charged the full amount, $200 plus delivery and taxes, despite the inaccuracy. Given the quantity and content of the arrangement delivered, it should have been in the $100 Price range. J Morris website clearly says I will be emailed if any substitutions must be made, but nobody contacted me. I ordered the arrangement on May 5 for a May 10 delivery date so there was ample time to contact me and discuss alternatives. I emailed J Morris and they apologized that I was unhappy but made no attempt to rectify the situation. They blamed the cut flower crisis (of which I am fully aware) and referred me to their website disclaimer “about the crisis and if substitutions needed to be made I would be emailed”. But again, nobody emailed me. Circular frustration.

I was told after payment was done that they were running short of some flowers And that it would be substituted with other high end flowers as I ordered deluxe bouquet.
I naively believed the mail however I did mention in my reply that I will check with my sister in law on how they were. I received a picture and it looked nothing like it was shown in the picture. The bouquet was for her first year anniversary and I was left embarrassed after paying 80$ for the horrendous flowers.
I got a repose saying that “am I not aware of what is going on in the world by Jenifer” a staff of Jmorris flowers.
Little does this lady know that I am a very much aware of what is going on but it is not my fault that something that is advertised isn’t matched. As a business owner myself - if I can’t deliver what is expected, I would rather not deliver at all.
This is an absolute day light robbery. Avoid this place specially for someone like me who wanted to surprise my sister in-law from here in England - UK.

I submitted a note when I ordered these flowers asking that sunflowers not be included, that a solid color vase be used and if possible to receive a photo of the flowers before they are sent (as one always like to see what they are paying for.) None of the my requests were made. Don't know that I'll order from JM again.

The flowers were very beautiful and fragrant when delivered. However, after 48 hours over one half the bouquet had to be thrown away as the flowers had wilted so much. For the cost of the arrangement this is very disappointing. I have never, in 30 years, had delivered flowers deteriorate so quickly. Highly disappointed.

I had the Classic 2 Dozen delivered to my wife for Valentine's Day. Knowing I was going to pay a premium, I shopped around to include other local florists and online options. I strive to buy local whenever possible but have never been satisfied with the other local florists. I had never used J. Morris Flowers before but they did offered the best price and had good reviews. The delivery was made on time and the arrangement was better than advertised, the roses were breathtaking and my wife absolutely loved them. I thought the roses were top quality and the greenery accented the arrangement beautifully. I would strongly recommend J. I LOVE J. Morris Flowers (actually, my wife loves the arrangements, so therefore I do). Normally things are perfect & exceed expectations. This time, unfortunately, leaves and flowers started wilting within minutes of delivery. The vase arrived without any water, so that may be part of it. The arrangement was stunning. Just perfect. However I had requested a delivery time in the late afternoon to ensure that someone would be home to accept it. The delivery was made around noon instead. Luckily someone was unexpectedly home. The distance between the shop and recipient was not far. If the delivery time can be tightened that would be great. Overall it was terrific. Would definitely use JMorris again.

Outstanding quality and service! We first used J. Morris for our son's prom (corsage and boutonniere) back in May and this order was for my wife's and my 19th anniversary. Not happy. I ordered flowers and later learned the family would not be home for 2 days due to showing out of town. Called florist and left detailed message REQUESTING a confirmation that they got my message and would move delivery two days and NEVER heard back from them. I cannot start to say how impressed I am with jmorrisflowers. My wife said the flowers were the prettiest she had ever received...and she couldn't stop commenting on how pretty the base was also.
We were not home when the flowers were delivered. The deliver woman left a message in our phone, and when she hadn't heard back from us, she came back to the house to pick them up because she was concerned that the extreme cold weather might damage the arrangement. I have never heard of a florist caring that much for their product.
