Floral 101 started with the simple thought of bringing happiness to people. It all started with coming home from work one day and making floral arrangements for friends and family in our communities and gifting them away to bring some comfort during the midst of uncertainty in the world. A mustard seed was sown and a few years later we started to see the fruits of our hard work labor (or in our case the blooms of our labor) GROW! We received our first award from the Lomita Chamber of Commerce in 2022 acknowledging us as the "New Business to Watch”. We are proud to have a team that believes in our mission and our values of what we do. We are big believers too in our communities and being present for everyone. Here at Floral 101 ALL ARE WELCOME. In some instances, the florists’ photo may represent an overall theme or look and include a one-of-a-kind vase which cannot be exactly replicated. Although the actual bouquet may not precisely match the photo, its temperament will. Occasionally, substitutions of flowers or containers happen due to weather, seasonality and market conditions which may affect availability. If this is the case with the gift you've selected, the local florist will ensure that the style, theme and color scheme of your arrangement is preserved and will only substitute items of equal or higher value.
Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist. Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.
Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone. Florists that offer same day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the following day. Please note some florists may not make deliveries on Sunday.
To request a specific delivery time, please type it into the Special Instructions field during checkout. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences. Before major holidays, we recommend that you place your orders at least five days in advance.
