About Jeff: Jeff's father founded Jacque's Flowers in 1964 and added a Centerville location in 1984. Jeff worked for his Dad as a florist, graduating from Hixson School of Floral Design in 1976 while pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering from Wright State University. After graduating, he started a career as a mechanical engineer, only to realize that he wanted to go back to floristry. He returned to his Dad's business in 1990 and purchased the shop in Centerville in 1995. About Barbara: Barbara is an accountant and worked in the point of purchase display industry for many years as a plant controller before deciding she wanted to pursue her long time interest in flowers and began to work with Jeff in 1996. As a floral designer, she is self taught. Barbara also indulged her love of interior design and began incorporating a mix of home decor and antiques into the shop. We share a love of flowers and gardens and strive to make every floral design feel like a garden, whether it is large and wild like an English Garden or formal and contained like the French compact style.
In some instances, the florists’ photo may represent an overall theme or look and include a one-of-a-kind vase which cannot be exactly replicated. Although the actual bouquet may not precisely match the photo, its temperament will. Occasionally, substitutions of flowers or containers happen due to weather, seasonality and market conditions which may affect availability. If this is the case with the gift you've selected, the local florist will ensure that the style, theme and color scheme of your arrangement is preserved and will only substitute items of equal or higher value.
Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist. Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.
Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone. Florists that offer same day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the following day. Please note some florists may not make deliveries on Sunday.
To request a specific delivery time, please type it into the Special Instructions field during checkout. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences. Before major holidays, we recommend that you place your orders at least five days in advance.
