I looked at several places online in Dayton for gifts and memorials for the mother of a close friend. I found Ed Smith's Flowers and Gifts, and they had a very nice selection of flowers and gifts to choose from. I placed my order and contacted them the next day because I wasn't sure about all of the delivery details, and they had done their homework and had it all correct. They paid a lot of attention to detail. I would recommend them for sure!

The flowers arrived as ordered and were beautiful, very colorful and very fragrant. With that being said, within five days most of the flowers were extremely withered, withering or dead altogether. This was for an anniversary and I had hoped the flowers would have lasted at least ten days to two weeks especially given the cost. My wife was appreciative for them but I was extremely disappointed.

My sister brought my attention to this website when previously ordered flowers from her job for her son's homegoing would not make it on time for the service date needed. I jumped on website, filled out what I wanted and the order was verified that it would be at the church the next day. I even received a call from the ship worker to verify my order and make sure everything was exactly how I wanted it. I'm very grateful to Ed Smith's flowers for stepping in for me and my family when we needed. I would recommend this shop to everyone I know. We were treated with kindness and care.

I ordered the Grand 3 dozen Long Stem Rose Arrangement with Baby's Breath set for Valentine’s Day delivery. When I ordered the arrangement, I ordered it online. About 515p on the day of delivery, I contacted Ed Smith’s to see where my arrangement was. This was supposed to be delivered to my wife at our business we own. The arrangement was a part of our celebration for the day and we headed to Cincinnati for dinner. I was told by a representative that all the arrangements for the day had already been delivered and all of their drivers were already back at their facility.

I gave the representative all of my email confirmation information and initially he couldn’t find my order. After a few minutes, he was able to locate it. The representative did apologize to me and my wife. I was credited for half of my total back $169 of $338 and she received her flowers the next day.

This experience was terrible and if it wasn’t for the representative I would probably just got to another area florist.

As I explained Wednesday our website and point of sale system normally talk to each other flawlessly, but due to a glitch your order never made it to us. After I located your order and asked how I could make the situation right for you, you mentioned that you and your wife were headed to dinner, so delivering the arrangement Wednesday was impossible. I offered to refund you half of the order and deliver it early on Thursday which you indicated would be good. You then asked me to personally explain the situation to your wife and apologize to her which I did. I have since contacted our website provider about the glitch and they are looking into it. All I can do at this point is apologize again for the glitch that ruined your evening with your wife. I hope you have a wonderful day.

I did not see the floral arrangement that I ordered. I looked at all the flowers. Unless the arrangement was done in some other fashion or color it was not there. I'm highly disappointed and truly feel like I was robbed.

I've had an excellent experience with Ed Smith's. I've online ordered a bouquet of sympathy flowers from them to be delivered on the same day. I order flowers every year near my mother's birthday to display at the mausoleum where she and my dad are inurned.
