Their website was easy to navigate and it was no problem to order online. The description of the item (including size options) was clear and accurate. Absolutely amazing! I received an email that the orange lilies that were advertised were not in stock. They offered a substitute and I basically said "I trust you". What they substituted with (according to my mom) was stargazer lilies. If you have not seen them, they are stunning and fragrant. I am extremely happy with this purchase and have always been happy with everything I have purchased from here. They quality is always unmatched and I am extremely satisfied that I can order high quality flowers for my mom from 160 miles away without having to order from 1800 flowers.

I ordered flowers for a friend whose husband had died. The first on line service called me several hours later to say they did not deliver to my friend’s area. So I contacted Carlyle and they delivered a beautiful arrangement of flowers that my friend said was beautiful and smelled good, too. Hard defense of their wilted flowers, and made sure I knew my college-aged daughter was 10 minutes late (on her birthday when she had four classes and dinner with friends) to meet them to receive the flowers, making a 79-year-old delivery person wait in the cold. Robert Morrison said they did their best, but telling a mama of a girl on her birthday that her daughter is rude and it's her fault the flowers are wilted is hardly winning customer service or marketing. Have a nice day. I won't buy locally from this place next time.

It is very hurtful and beyond belief that what began as an effort to provide extraordinary customer service would end up with such vitriol.This order arrived late but we filled it to overvalue and called the daughter for delivery.She had to go to class and would not be back at her dorm until 45 minutes after our closing. We made arrangements to meet her, at her convenience, after closing. After all, it was her birthday and it was important for her to get her flowers. We arrived at the door on time but she did not. She was in her room but forgot all about us, leaving our 79 year old delivery person to stand in the cold until we could gain dorm access. It was another ten minutes before we could find her. Our thanks for our kindness was criticism of the arrangement claiming it was wilted and sparse. It was done to overvalue, had all of the flowers pictured which were delivered fresh that morning. This is truly most unkind and unfortunate.

Glad you thought the arrangement was pretty. The fullness would be affected by the openness of the iris. You never want them to be fully open so they last longer. Please know that the arrangement was done to overvalue. Additional flowers were added to achieve greater fullness.

The arrangement shown is a one sided arrangement which includes five roses and 6 iris. It is listed at 69.99. You chose a version for 79.99 so we made it an all around arrangement adding 2 roses and 2 iris making it an additional 17.00 above the cost of the arrangement shown. Our arrangements are always done to overvalue because it is important to us that they are beautiful. Again we are so sorry you were disappointed.

There was an issue with the Purple statice not being in stock and was promptly informed (via email) of this issue. Delivery time was great, but the flowers my wife received did not match up to the arrangement I thought I was paying for. The arrangement she received was not nearly as full, had shorter stems, a shorter vase, much fewer carnations, and almost no greenery.

It's no secret we're living in inflationary times. The cost of each flower, container, time to make and deliver an arrangement has gone up. My goodness, we are so sorry that you were kinda "bummed". We work very hard to send only the best and nothing leaves here unless it's beautiful.Please know because of regional and seasonal conditions exact replication of a piece is not possible. The piece we sent, however had all of the colors and flowers shown. I'm concerned about your comments relative to size. The piece that was sent was 24 inches tall and at least 18" wide. If you consider this 1/4 the size expected you were looking for a very large piece. I wonder if you saw a photo of another piece.

The team at Carlyle did a wonderful job! I placed an order over the internet. I got a confirmation email and a follow up email that the roses were not in stock asking if I would prefer a substitution to meet the same day delivery or wait until the next day for the roses. Normally florists just substitute and you have no idea that they did. The arrangement was delivered that day and it was beautiful. I will definitely use them again.
