Vase was filled to the brim with water and bag was leaking the entire time. Had to carry it 5 blocks and was completely soaked by the time I got home. Associate who helped me didn’t speak English so couldn’t understand when I asked if he could put it in another bag. Even if this was delivered water would’ve been everywhere

Beethoven’s Veranda is without a doubt the best florist I have encountered in my 70+ years. I don’t reside in Hoboken or New Jersey, and I wish I had a florist in the Washington, DC area as excellent. The arrangements my daughter in law receives are as beautiful as the example. The flowers are perfect and my fiance loves them. However, the delivery did not go as expected and my fiance had a fair amount of back and forth with the delivery person. I provided detailed instructions in the comments when purchasing and I understand not all delivery type requests can be fulfilled but I would have preferred to get a call personally instead of the confusion falling on the recipient.

The arrangement was absolutely beautiful- the colors were magnificent i expected to see some variation in flowers between actual and what was described on website due to seasonal availability but there was none. Stunning. Delivery was as requested. My only reason for not assigning 5 stars was that i questioned your ability to deliver the arrangement at requested time-slot (noon) as your website noted specific delivery times could not be guaranteed. I called and left messages twice to inquire if the requested time was achievable because if not id swing by to pick up instead. No one returned the calls so i wasnt sure if the arrangement would be there in time. In the end it was and was lovely but i would have appreciated a simple return call to confirm Nevertheless i would definitely use Beethoven again

Your original photo and this one does not show the fabric that surrounded the flowers. When I saw the arrangement in person yesterday, the stiff fabric overwhelmed the flowers. I thought it looked cheaper than it should have. It did not look worth the price I paid.

Unfortunately because of the time between hand picking the flowers from the market and creating the beautiful floral arrangement was so short, coupled with the Valentine’s Day holiday, decisions had to be made to make substitutions without notification. I do agree the pink material surrounding the vase what’s an added designers choice which I approved and is not pictured in the pink sensation website selection. I was trying to order flowers for my cousin's daughter--it was her 14th birthday. I wanted a "bright and happy" arrangement since she misses her friends so much due to Covid 19. I arranged for my cousin to pick up the flowers. Low and behold, a severe snow storm was due to hit on pick up day. I called the owner, reached him on his cell on a Sunday (!). He agreed to have the arrangement completed that day for my cousin to pick! We had several telephone conversations to make this all happen. He was extremely pleasant and most accommodating and, the flower arrangement was beautiful! I would highly recommend this business and certainly give it "5 Stars"!

The delivery was excellent and as expected - no delays or issues. The arrangement was absolutely stunning and unique. What we thought we were getting with this website photo would have been perfect as it is but the final product was WAY grander and fuller. It also came in a beautiful wooden box at the base, and quite possibly the most massive roses we have ever seen. This completely exceeded our expectations especially for the price, and the recipient was blown away by it - she definitely thinks we spent at least double what we actually did :) Highly recommend!

As for the floral arrangement we only use the freshest product available. I happened to create this arrangement myself so I know exactly what went into the design. We went to the market the same morning to gather fresh flowers for your arrangement specifically. There were only two pink roses that were slightly more open that I included only to give the arrangement some additional color and life. As the creative director of the company I took that liberty and in my opinion the arrangement was sent out with my hand and with my approval.
Additionally, I am concerned as to your comments about our delivery fee as the fee is clearly displayed before payment is requested. Was the fee not displayed? The nominal $25 delivery fee covers a very small portion of our insurance costs and driver wages just so you have a better understanding.

Beautiful arrangement! exactly as pictured! I was nervous they were showing the 3rd upgraded one, but nope she got exactly what was shown! She doesn't like flowers so this was a perfect idea! Plus they will live so much longer! She loves them! Thank you

I was extremely disappointed with both the delivery and the arrangement I ordered. I phoned the shop to clarify delivery, but was put on hold by the owner, who never returned.
The arrangement had the same varietals as seen in the photo but was white with a splash of red, not pink! Had I known this was going to be the case,I would have ordered a different
arrangement. I chose pink flowers for a reason!
When I coveted my dissatisfaction post delivery, I was told the flowers were fresh (!) and worth more than the over $100 I paid. I am incensed...

I ordered the pink tulips in the barn box. The owner called me early the next morning to let me know he went to market and wasn't happy with the quality of the tulips offered. He suggested a different grouping of flowers, which upon delivery, my daughter called "spectacular". The only hiccup was when I called the shop to check on the delivery, I was told by one of the employees it was already delivered, signed by the concierge that morning. This caused an uncomfortable communication issue with the concierge, as there were two other deliveries which were delivered but neither were mine. After several phone calls between flower shop and concierge, the issue was discovered and my order was immediately delivered. Other than that bit of confusion, Beethoven's Veranda still remains my daughter's favorite shop. After seeing what the florist created myself, I understand why!

This was our first experience with Beethoven's Veranda and we were very pleased! The flower arrangement was gorgeous and they sent us a photo prior to delivery as we requested. It's always nice to deal with competent and talented vendors and we will definitely do repeat business with them. Highly recommend!

I ordered the particular arrangement because of the type of flowers in it. The day it was to be delivered, I received a call from William saying he had been to the market and didn’t like the way the flowers looked. I let him do what he does and he created the most incredibly beautiful arrangement using flowers I hadn’t seen before. My Sister in-law kept sending me pictures. You made her days with this beautiful creation! Thank you!

I think this was one of the worst "premium" dozen of roses i've ever received. The vase that was used was too low for the height of each rose. The roses were spread out and taped awkwardly, and my valentine was actually upset, ruined my night pretty much.
I do not recommend.

Our red roses came in super strong and super tall and the roses did indeed sit very high in the vase. We keep them high because our customers prefer the roses this way and our description indeed calls them long stem. Please keep in mind when roses are delivered to a concierge they can be tussled about if this was the case. We do use professional floral tape to keep them stable and in position. It’s extremely rare that we have any issues with any of our flower arrangements. Our goal and mission is to ensure that all of our customers are completely satisfied. I ordered a bouquet for my friend's birthday 1 week in advance who LOVES, again LOVES peonies - and they email me day off to tell me they don't have any peonies and deliver some other type of flower! This is extremely disappointing!
