I am using last years email to me asking me for a review of the mothers day flowers I sent to my daughter because this year I received nothing from Always In Bloom at all. I am hoping someone will contact me from Always in Bloom when you receive this because if I do not get some explanation I will never use Always in Bloom again and I have been on of your most loyal customers. But I am willing to give you another chance if someone will just tell me what happened this year.
Are you under new management or ownership?
I called the order in early last week as usual but I knew something was off when the woman on the phone said my daughter lived in" Dog Town" and I said no she lives in University City and asked her to read the address back to me and she said oh yes it is in University City. The address was correct but I asked her to send me
a receipt by email as usual. 24 hours later I
received nothing so I called and asked to confirm my order and also asked her to read
the address to me again. She said that it had not been processed yet but they did have the
order--The next day my credit card was charged but I did not receive a receipt by text or email. So I told my daughter something odd was happening to this years flowers from Always in Bloom. I checked again Mothers Day
evening and nothing had been delivered. Finally my daughter received a text from an Air B@B
which she never would have answered ordinarily (her address is 6911 Pershing and
the delivery was made at 5911 Pershing) and
thanks to the kindness of these strangers she drove over and picked up her flowers. Can
some one tell me what happened? This is

We are sorry to hear that. The arrangement you order is delivered in a cube vase with water, if the water is accidentally spilled or not filled to the top, unfortunately the flowers will not survive. We typically include care instructions with the order, especially for cube arrangements due to the shorter stems, to help recipient's maintain an optimal water level. We like to keep our customer's happy and would love the opportunity to make this right!

Your worker “drew” sent a confirmation email to me an hour before it actually was delivered. After thirty mins I began to worry as my GF never called confirming she received the flowers that were meant as a “surprise”. Because of this I became and impatient and ruined the whole surprise cause I called her to see if they had arrived. Needless to say they hadn’t. Kind of upset over this ordeal to be honest. I don’t understand why “drew” would do that. When I called your business all that drew had to offer was a “sorry”??? Like really that’s it? I paid good money for your services and that’s all I got for your employees negligence? This review is simply to inform. I don’t expect nothing back now since all I received was a sorry? As per our phone conversation, your arrangement was accidentally marked as "Delivered" after a driver on another route had returned. Ordered flowers for my parter for Valentine's Day and was very happy with their work and their ability to communicate changes to the order. They didn't have pine cones to add to the flowers and called to ask if it were okay if they were excluded. I probably would not have noticed but I appreciate them communicating the change. Once I discovered Always in Bloom, I've never ordered from those 1-800 Flower type websites that deliver flowers in a box. Always in Bloom deliveries are personally handed to the receiver in a beautiful vase without any boxes or tissue paper to unwrap. Beautiful experience every time. Highly recommended!

I was very disappointed. I know that you have a clause about substitutions and the product not appearing exactly like the photo, which is understandable. Advertisement sometimes is fake to draw people but the flowers that where delivered looked nothing like the picture but the colors. There was more greenery than flowers. I counted six good flowers and out of them only four was roses. But thanks for delivery before they date I had for delivery. My auntie who flowers were sent to. Thanked me with a picture of the flowers.

Always in Bloom is just
the most amazing flower shop. I have used them exclusively for the past five years. They take such care and consideration over their work and clients. If you order an arrangement from the website, and they are unable to get the flower colors, they call and let you know how they will substitute. They deliver promptly and carefully. Recently, I had flowers delivered to a church for a funeral service and mistakenly picked a delivery time before the church was open. Always in Bloom placed the flowers in a safe place outside and continued to contact the Church to make sure they knew where the flowers were located. Now that is tender loving care! I had faith in Always in Bloom to deliver on a peace lily plant for my great uncle’s funeral. Though it arrived as scheduled, the sizing and look of the plant was very disappointing, considering the amount paid for premium type. It was something where I should have just used a local, grocery chain — feeling that they would have taken this opportunity to do justice. I have used Always in Bloom before on a floral arrangement and it was satisfying; however, I won’t be using them again.

I was sad when Michael FINALLY recieved his flowers that they looked nothing like the photo. 70 bucks is a lot of money for me. When I called to let the florist know they hadn't arrived at 2pm, though ordered at 8:30 am, I felt like a nuisance and wasn't offered an apology for the flowers being delivered to the wrong office, though it was the right building. I had to call the recipient and tell him so he could go find them. That obviously ruined the element of surprise. I wish I could attach a photo of what he got. The only thing that was as advertised was the hydrangeas. There were no garnishment or proper vase. They were almost embarrassing. Im very disappointed and feel a bit ripped off.

Hi Leslie, we are sorry to hear that you were saddened by the floral delivery experience you received from us. The arrangement was delivered early in the morning. Our delivery driver had a conversation with the receptionist at the front desk and stated the recipient’s name. The receptionist’s response was to leave the arrangement at the desk, and they would make sure Michael received it. The time that lapsed before he received the arrangement was out of our control, we made several phone calls to his office to remedy the situation. You are correct the vase was not as pictured because unfortunately that vase is no longer available, we have since updated the website to reflect the new vase. The arrangement you ordered consists of white hydrangea and assorted greenery, which is what Michael received, we do apologize for the vase being different. The standard arrangement is 44.95 and the deluxe is 64.95, your total of 68.63 included the standard arrangement, tax, and service fees. We hope this explanation helps to address your concerns.

Not recommending this place ever Got an email a day after my order was purchased stating my floral arrangement was HAND DELIVERED at 330pm to my girlfriends house whose father passed the day before Thanksgiving . I actually had stopped at my girlfriends house the day the flowers were to be delivered to help her out with a project but left at 4pm She and her husband never mentioned a floral delivery . When I returned home an I got an email that stating the flowers were delivered around 3:30 . I responded to the email from your shop and was told by email a delivery person couldn't get my girlfriend by phone but left the flowers on a chair on her porch or courtyard So NOT HAND DELIVERED for additional $12.00 And to my embarrassment I had to call my girlfriend at this time to confirm if the flowers were even received To my dismay they weren't I couldn't be more disappointed in the service and promise of delivery Again I will never use this floral business ever I am following up with a phone call on Monday and am putting it out there how out of touch this business is So if you want to make excuses for covid or lack of help .. its poor business of floral delivery if no one gets the flowers that you paid for nor get a return or reimbursement for lack of said service .Im now out over $100 . Totally sucks

I ordered flowers for the same day delivery if 10/7/21. I called about an hour later once I learned that the recipient would be in the hospital for a few days longer and requested that the delivery be held off until Monday 10/11. The woman on the phone said that absolutely they would hold the delivery until then.
But I got an email later in the day saying that they were in fact delivered. So this means that the flowers are sitting there alone and rotting.
I replied to the delivery email but did not get a reply. I was too busy within my work day to make a phonecall.
What a waste of money for me and a waste of beauty for those flowers. I will not be using your company again.

We're not sure at what point the card got removed, What we are sure of is the flowers arrived at the funeral parlor with the card since it wouldn't have been delivered to the right place if the card wasn't there for it contains the recipient's/deceased information.

Truthfully I was a bit disappointed in the flower selection for the cost. I consider carnations and alstroemerias filler flowers and would have liked more hydrangeas and maybe a gerber daisy or 2. Plus the didn’t put my name down so my daughter didn’t know who they were from.
What mattered is my daughter was very surprised and said she loved them.

Your card message did not contain your name, it just ended with "Good Luck". Your special instructions requested long lasting flowers, so that is why we choose Alstromeria, Daisies and Carnations. In the style arrangement the designer choose, a short glass cube, we did use a couple hydrangea as the base. We hope you give us the opportunity to send flowers for you again. If you would like to call us and actually talk to a designer, we will make sure your desires are met. Thanks.
